Mine only has a minor clearance issue on the aluminum undertray on one runner and I passed that info on to Jesse. I assumed it was due to worn out engine mounts on my car. The mounting holes that bolt to the heads are just very precise you have to be dead on straight when you install it.

Yea, I can let Jesse know. It honestly was not bad though, I probably moved the metal less than 1/8". I think the bigger challenge was that the mounting holes didn't match up exactly perfect, so having that little bit of extra wiggle room made it easier to get the header up and mated. Every engine and every header will have slightly different tolerances...easiest thing would be slightly larger mounting holes.

As I wait in anticipation for spring to end so I can pull my BRZ out of storage and get this header on and dyno’d...

Anyone have independent numbers yet?

The original numbers and dyno charts shown were actually done independently. I spoke to the guy who was testing/tuning it one day at a local DC AutoX event. Looked and sounded awesome.

Fair enough! I am beyond excited to get it on my car and tuned; if only spring could come quicker...

This is correct, however, Canada laughs at that prospect... this was my winter beater on Wednesday. This winter is the most snow we’ve seen in 18 years!

So I knew I had some clearance issues and this is a 95k mile car bit wow.. I'm pretty sure it melted the aluminum to it.

I'm very surprised you did not hear / feel that. My UEL was the skid plate before massaging the plate, it was ludicrously loud in the car.

Booked my install and dyno tuning at Touge Tuning/OnPoint Dyno (as seen in Speed Academy) for mid April!

One more month of waiting...

IMO this is a premium header with the price tag to reflect that; I'm surprised that customers are having so many issues with fitment.

It's a hand made part that has a lot going on in a small space. I mentioned my issue to Jesse so hopefully he's since tweaked it.

The skid plate is a well known issue across numerous headers. The skid plate was designed/positioned around stock header. Part of what makes a lot of aftermarket headers effective in adding power is changing the runner length and angles etc.. which results in more power but also contacting the skid plate. Nothing a rubber mallet and 30seconds of time can’t resolve though. It has nothing to do with a bad or low quality design.
