Removed my OEM reverse lights and filled the opening with an OEM quality ABS grille. I still have to secure it but for now this what it looks like.

I will post better pictures later. If anyone is interested in information about the grille and or the dimensions of the grille just ask. I will also post the method in which I will secure the grille.

By the way, I have the Diode Dynamics tail as turn mod so my reverse lights are located where my OEM turn signals once were.

I purchased the mesh through eBay Universal Mesh Grille

**the price fluctuates a lot... when I bought the mesh it was either $39.99 or $49.99. I'd keep my eye out for a price drop. $99.99 is too much.

I put together a DIY for the reverse light delete / mesh install here

I ordered them through @vividracing...Vividracing's pricing on this BBK was on point... just had to work a bit to get the price I received. Took four months to arrive. I don't believe there are many Runduce BBKs stateside...needless to say I love this BBK!

Sean took care of my order.. his info is a follows

Always constantly observe the voltage of the Shorai battery... mine became an expensive paperweight after it started having issues starting the car and then the voltage dropped to ~12.4V - don't EVER let the voltage get below 13V, not even once! I don't think they can take the heat in the engine bay + south coastal Texas summers. Going back to a Hawker Odyssey with a PC680MJ soon...those are proven batteries. But i will also be wrapping it with a racing thermal battery blanket to do everything possible to keep the heat in check.

Thanks for the heads up... I do not drive my 86 a whole lot... just my hobby, weekend, and show car so heat should not be that big of a factor for me. I'll look into ways of protecting the battery from excessive heat anyway.

If you do not drive the car often you really should get a battery tender for it... like Shorai says, do not EVER let the battery get below 13.0 volts. Mine worked fine daily driving for about 6 months then crapped out when it suddenly had issues starting the car and the voltage dropped.

My FR-S oil temperature gets to 220-230F daily driving to/from work. For battery thermal protection, this is what I plan on going with:

I have the Shorai battery tender...the battery will be on the tender in store mode the majority of the time.

Thanks for the link... I'll take a look at it

Got around to polishing my throttle body today.... I decided to polish it without removing it... I just used towels to mask off the surrounding parts. I didn't get to finish because I forgot my Dremel at work...I need it for the tight spots and details. Anyway, I'll finish during the week.

I also replaced a few more fender and miscellaneous bolts with the ZSpec kit.

Pics of my engine bay coming soon.
