There is also a SCCA autocross on Sunday at Remington park, you can register online in advance (motorsportreg.com) or at the event (cash or check only on site). Registration closes at 8:30am, and the racing starts soon thereafter.

Yes, autocross(AX) is aplenty in OKC right now.
SCCA is official. You will be grouped into a class with like cars. It is ran at Remington Park on tarmac/parking lot out there. It last for about 8 hours. So be prepared. But if your just wanting to get your feet wet, and don't care for getting official times (And at this stage you shouldn't). Then there are plenty of local clubs who run at the Sheriffs track, once a month. I recommend the Porsche Club(this weekend) or the BMW Club. It will only eat up about 3 or 4 hours of your day, and both clubs are friendly towards newcomers. The main thing is to just show up. The day will take care of itself. Its a lot of fun and you will get to appreciate your car in a way you cant really do on the road. I would recommend to do it at least once and see what you think. BTW - I ran Eagles Canyon last weekend. FUn track with 70+ft of elevation change. It even has a baby version of the corkscrew at Laguna Seca. Anyways, its only 2.5 hrs away in Texas. I recommend it if you get the chance. I will be out at the AX on Saturday this weekend.

That's awesome! Are you on FB? If so you should join the Oklahoma FT86/FRS/BRZ page. We got a large following of OK guys on there. Also, the OK Subies page is larger and a good group too. I am part of both. Feel free to join! Otherwise only a few of us still use the forums here. I try to log in once a week at least to see what up in the FT86club world. We just had one guy install a Sprintex Supercharger on his BRZ. Thing is awesome!

Hit a 1:39 today at Hallett. First time on this track. First time tracking my BRZ. Completely stock car. I don't think that was too bad.
