Kenwood DDX916WSL
This headunit looks like it's an LHD version of the DDX916WS/DDX917WS, with hard buttons instead of capacitive ones. Anyone know where I could purchase this unit? Can't find much info on it beyond the Latin American Kenwood website.

Nice find. I hadn't seen that model before. From the kenwood site it does indeed appear to be a 200mm wide "toyota" model with the buttons on the right side and everything. Hopefully someone can chime in with more info...

Looks like it's only available for sale in the Latin America market.

I just installed the DDX 917WS and I think I would prefer the 917 over the 916. Having the buttons on the right works nicely as your hand doesn't block the screen at all. I also like the look of the capacitive buttons on the 917 vs the physical buttons on the 916.

I have the DDX917WS and I have never used the buttons on the right. The steering controls do what I need. Plus, Carplay allows its virtual buttons to be located on either side.
