You're making me regret getting the Almite gold's! Those look amazing.

Also, coils finally installed

Agreed. They really did a nice job with the paint quality and it shows. Plus, they released enough different colors so that everyone can find something they like!

Kinda funny that a simple 5-spoke design is selling so well and is getting so much hype. Hope other wheel manufacturers take note: we like simple, clean, timeless designs! Less is more!

If only current car designers would get it. (BTW, imho oem wheel design also is of good example). Hate now almost all modern cars having all those stupid stampings sticking out from body, overdone grills, and all those lights of weird shapes and by that .. not setting apart from rest, but rather leaving impression of just fscked up same as others, overdone at same extent.
In my book 350Z still is car i like most looks-wise. Or jag coupes.
OK, i have to admit, i also like lancia stratos .. or almost all B group wrc cars, lambo countach and alikes .. but even with some insanity and big aero elements those cars were nowhere near overdone design wise as generic family cars of today, whose overall shapes for economy/pedestrian safety/car capacity got almost all same within class and those stupid design elements becoming only thing that differs.

What are the weights on the 17x9 +38 and would they clear the 08+ WRX brakes?

I didn't weight mine, but I saw a pick from FT86speedfactory that showed them to weight in at 18.3 lbs...

They should clear STI brembos, they cleared my wilwood BBK with ease.

Wow heaps of clearance. I'm thinking about swapping to these from my RPF1 17x9's. I like the look of the 5 spoke and the clearance these give for brake options. Well worth the 2 pound per corner weight increase IMO.

If your BBK cleared the RPF1, then this wheel will definitely fit just fine... my kit requires 5mm spacers on 17x9 RPF1 in order to fit from what I read in the RR-Racing thread.

Just FYI on weight, some finishes are lighter than others, so give the wheels a margin of +/- 0.2 lbs depending on the finish.

Anybody know where to find the 18x8.5's in stock? That seems like the perfect size to me.
