Im thinking of pairing this with the 2.5" JDL ultra quiet front pipe, would i have any fitment issues? And for the Rear Flange should OEM Style Donut Gasket or the flat flanged??? the rest of the exhaust is STI axleback and OEM midpipe.

OK, after I did some driving I can say that this header sounds and performs fantastic.
1. Installation - easy to install and despite my concerns regarding the overpipe fitment, it just goes in there perfectly. I dare to say that it was the easiest over pipe I have ever fitted.- note: fit the over pipe first from the front of the car towards the back and then fit the header.
2. Sound - at first it sounded like any brand new header - shit and like something is broken inside, but after about 100km with it on it started to tame a little and sound is quite nice...more "mature" yet race like. Hard to describe it but I like it. I have evo3 cat back and it sounds really growly when you put your foot down.
3. Performance - I cannot express my amazement with how this header performs. From 1500-2000 up it just picks up like nothing else. I have OFT tune on them tweaked by master Wayno and it is fantastic. (I will upload the new map soon). I need to replace my clutch soon hence I didn't give it hell, but once I do...I am going to give it a good run and provide you with a video and dyno!

Up until then...I am happy.

If you look carefully, the runners of the header extends into the over pipe. So you get overpipe and header in one. Very smart design if you ask me.

I think he might be asking if you had the 150, 250 or 350 over pipe.

I was wondering if you got the 150,250 or 350. Your description of increased torque at 1500rpm is quite enticing !

You shouldn't have any fitment issues.

If you plan to keep the STi axleback and stock midpipe, then you need the JDL FP to be set up for a donut gasket. If you later switch the midpipe or get a different catback that requires a flat flange, it's easy to convert the donut gasket fitting from the JDL FP to a flat flange.

Some heads up. Type-A 4-2-1 is exclusive to us and we have a limited number set now.

Type-B is a great option with a slightly different converging angle and slip joint welded setup. The first Type-B we had shipped over got sold within minutes.
