That was just over 14 psi. Altitude 0, atmospheric pressure 14.7psi, ambient air temp 65f, fuel caltex e85, which is reading approx 72% here in winter time.

The car has stock air box, with snorkel delete and an avo panel filter. A slightly widened version of the avo dump pipe, then full 2.5" perrin exhaust with cat, but no resonator. Also a perrin crank pulley and lightweight flywheel.

Here's some rough numbers from the flex tuning, converted to dynojet bhp using a 165bhp baseline.

stock 98 ron 165 bhp (108 kw)
4.5 psi avo base map 212 bhp
6 psi 98 ron 250 bhp
9 psi 98 ron 275 bhp
9 psi e44 325 bhp
12 psi e44 345 bhp
13.5 psi e70 365 bhp (241 kw)

After that a vac line under the intake manifold blew off, so they've fixed it and gone to lunch. :happy0180:

You guys are confusing me with all this bhp! This is whp, right? Stock fr-s does ~165whp, avo 5psi ~230whp (according to page 1) which seems to line up with your results. My understanding is bhp = brake horsepower, which is the measurement of power before parasitic losses (flywheel horsepower, essentially).

Anyway, very good numbers and really cool to see some testing with the corn juice!

If I can make 285whp on a mustang dyno, which is over 300whp on a dynojet.. I would expect at least 350whp on e85

Sorry it's at the wheels, multiplied by 14% going from the baselines (144 vs 165 whp).

I'll post sheets when I have them. With this intake/exhaust/turbo spec things will be getting restrictive, and Morpowa are going to do some back pressure testing on it. I think 260 rwkw would be asking a lot without at least going to a big pod filter.

So in American terms I'd put the limit of the avo stage 2 hardware, with stock airbox and 2.5" exhaust at approx 400 whp.

But I did hear something about a new wheel and housing...

Good numbers!

which 98ron limits could you estimate based on your experience - psi\bhp-wise?

It should be knock-warning, right? meaning you can't go any further without a risk
