Sure Cole just need to actually come out some time! Clay barred all on my own. "Ohhhh I had to work" can only cut it so much.
The river bank in Stratford is crawling with the things. Got 80 balls in about 15 minutes.

Mine went down only 3 dollars for 6 months. Better than going up I suppose but that whole credit tying into policy crap is frustrating. Went shopping around and I was sent an email clearly stating my short credit history was a major determining factor in the "extraordinary" high rates.

I bet it has more to do with my two tickets (2.5 years ago, I got nailed for 15 over in Saskatchewan (which, should technically be off my record now, since it'll be gone half way through the policy next year) and 1.5 years ago, I got a ticket for an improper turn) than anything. |

Maybe they do that here as well but I have never heard of it before. Really adds another variable when we get the semi annual "What do you pay for insurance" thread.

@soulreapersteve ........ reminds me of the time, just after I got off active duty from the Army, we moved to California and rented an unfurnished apartment. I never had a credit card and had always paid cash for everything. Well, I was a bit low on cash and went to Sears to buy a bed and open a Sears charge account. They wouldn't allow me to open an account (thus buy a bed) because I didn't have any credit history. So, we slept on the floor for over a month, while I was establishing a credit history. Yep, a college graduate, a captain in the Army (inactive) and I couldn't buy a BED on credit. Oh yes, "C" rations, heated up can be quite tasty ....... if you drink enough whisky before you eat ...... just ask @Tcoat and @Cole ...... Hey, you'll survive. humfrz Last edited by humfrz; 11-08-2016 at 08:52 PM. |
