Incoming calls dont show contact name

on my BRZ limited.
when i get calls it doesnt show who is calling.
usually says unknown or sometimes the number.
but i have the contacts list already stored in there.
and when i make calls itll say their name.

is there an option i missed somewhere?

I find it to be unreliable as well. It's a rare occasion it will show the caller name.
