Aftermarket radio with no sound.

Hi, i just try to change my radio, but there was just one problem with the sound.

There was no sound :-(

I got the GT86 with an option JBL soundsystem.
I now its because of the amp. but how can i bridge that, that it works.

does anybody has done that, or are there some cable connectors for that.

Thanks

Sounds like you may need a harness to go from the preamp outs of your head unit to the jbl amp.

Assuming a few things as there isnt enough info. I assume you have the right harness, however you dont bridge the it. It needs to be turned on just like an aftermarket amp. Try hooking up the power ant/ amp turn on wire. That will be the blue with white stripe of aftermarket radio to the blue wire on purchased wire harness, it may be the same color as new deck. Without this wire hooked up the amp wont produce sound.
Now the us version is different however the toyota jbl system needs a special adapter such as the Metra TYTO-01. If you have this harness my advice stands if not you may need this piece.if you could take a picture of what you have i can more helpful specifically pictures of new decks harness, and aftermarket harness as well as vehicles plugs.
