Yes I do. The title was "What do you think of my car?" or something like that and the thread got locked.

You don't like what buddy does to his car? That's fine. Either don't say anything, or ask why he's doing that.

Personally, I like the way it looks when a car is laid out with a bunch of camber. Would I do it to my own car? Probably not.

Edit: on second thought, maybe I will do that to my car this summer simply to invoke the rage of some people on here who can't appreciate someone else doing what they want to their own car with their own time and their money for their own enjoyment.

It's for when they use their cars in the Special Olympics. (At least that would be a legitimate reason to do it, if it actually applied.)

You have every right to do that to your car if you want.

I have every right to point at it and laugh.

Actually, you're thinking of the Paralympics. The special Olympics gives medals to everyone. You need to earn them in the Paralympics.

Well, you know what I mean. I was referring to the photo he posted, which is obviously from the paralympics and not the specials.

Well, coming from a family which has a member in it who competed nationally to try and get to the Paralympics, it grinds my gears to have people downplay it and use the incorrect terms.

If you read closely you will see that many (most of us?) have actually said very clearly it is theirs to do as they please with If that is what they want good for them. If somebody asked me to help them do any of the work I would be there in a second with tools in hand to assist in any way they asked(and razz them every second).
But...
That does not mean we need to give them our applause or moral support and I for one reserve the right to joke about them in a non malicious manner. Ya the guys that call them morons and such may be a bit off but we do not all need to agree all the time.

I apologize. I didn't mean to offend or insult the Olympics of any kind. I was just trying to explain that the wheel chairs in the Paralympics had more function to them than stanced cars.

Not looking for agreeableness (is that even a word). However, the car enthusiast scene will be its own downfall. Not the shitty Canadian dollar, not asshole cops targeting frs owners to fill ticket quotas and not the frs becoming the next civic.

It's hot-rodders who hate gassers, lifted keeps who hate lifted trucks, auto-xers hating stance guys. Just fuckin appreciate the investment that goes into the build. Personally, I don't care what other people think of my car, but what I do hate is the negativity in the car scene right now.

Dave, over at StanceIsEverything.com laid this out pretty well in a recent article.

Right now? You think this is new?
This has been the norm since the first guy painted his model T red and it will never go away.
Hell I spent my teen age years sneering at the "Jap crap" that was rolling into the country and knew without a doubt that they would never last as the V8 would reign supreme forever.
