Reflectors, I assume, you mean the red corner squared pieces, to make it like the JDM pieces? If so, I found a local plastic shop that can cut the same shape, form to match the curvature, and made of similar (but thinner) reflector pieces. Unfortunately, the cost to curve the pieces to match the housing would cost more than it's worth. I did not go thru with it.

Thanks for the diy, but mine are laying in pieces, and I think I'm going to have to get some after market lights lol.

This might sound crazy, but has anyone tried color matching the paint used inside the tail lights to the car. Not sure how it would turn out, but color matched headlights on vettes look pretty sweet.

I'm curious too. Also has anyone vinyl wrapped their headlights by any chance?

I had thought about it that I actually took the housings to a few paint shops and the prices IMO were not worth it. Primarily because it was plastic painted with "chrome". A lot of labor to make it look nice. Corvette idea, I have seen tails and headlights color matched...I much prefer it to stay with the Vettes haha

This idea I did not pursue.

most hobby stores offer silcone mold kits
you could easily make a mold and fill it with some clear reisn or something along those lines.
would be realitivly cheap.
im just rounding up everything to do mine in the next couple of days so i may even attempt this just to see what it looks like
we shall see

something like this for the molds
http://www.ebay.com/bhp/silicone-mold-kit

and anything like this to make the plastic piece
http://www.ebay.com/bhp/liquid-resin

keep in mind this was only ten seconds of searching on google

Finally got around to doing this. I used 3m window weld to seal mine back up.

I did the tail as turn signal mod a couple months ago, so I blacked out the whole taillight assembly, since back up lights are now at the bottom in my GCS 4th brakelight assembly.

I used satin black for all the chrome and niteshade for the red.

No lights

lights on

brake lights

forgot to mention that this keyboard cleaning compound will help a lot to get rid of those plastic pieces and dusts left inside. If you don't have a dust blower at home.
