How much would custom parts be?
I know I cant afford it...I'm 14 but I was just wondering how much money would a custom made stroker kit exactaly be...around $5000?

it really depends. in my 3SGTE, my stroker crank came from a 5SFE and basically bolts right in. need to use the rear main and flywheel bolts for a 5S, and have the rod journals machined to take 3S rods (or get custom rods). since i was purchasing new pistons anyway, there was no extra cost there. my stroker setup probably cost me around $800 more than doing a standard rebuild with forged pistons.
EDIT: there are some stroker package kits from various vendors that sell for anywhere from $3500-8000 and i'm sure you could find some for even more.

I was just wondering because me and my friend were having a discussion about the 4EFTE I said it sucks that it dosent have more displacement (1.3L) and no stroker kit available and he told me you could have one made. I was just wondering what the price would be. I'm guessing alot. If one off is that expensive maybe a limited production like a group buy...

Dpeends on the size and complexity of the motor. You can get a stroker kit for a 351 Cleveland for a grand or two, whereas finding one for a flat-4 would be several thousand. My Yamaha SHO stroker was right around 2200 IIRC.

Custom made what? Are we talking one off crank and rods? Are you going to be pairing them with stock style pistons and wrist pins? Stock size crankpins? Are you changing compression? Are you eating the R&D cost? What sort of materials are you using?
The cost could be astronomical. However, you need to be much more specific.

Depending on design and development time, etc., I'd say at LEAST $20,000 to have any sort of a proper setup.
That being said, if you had a 4E-FTE, your best bet would be to use 3E/5E crank (87mm stroke) to increase it to 1.5L. Jeff
