Nameless 3" catback

Does anyone actually have this 3" Nameless catback on a stock 86. I just ordered this exhaust because it sounded nice on a youtube video and i plan on going FI at some point. But now im reading stuff on how raspy it is and how bad the fitment. Can somebidy who has it shed some light my way please.

Has yours arrived yet? Are you just reading this, or experiencing this, yourself? Nameless has has a lot of positive reviews on this board. I don't run any of their parts, but I would wait, to jump to conclusions.

I think you're reading nonsense. Nameless stuff fits nice and generally are quality parts.

The only issues I've personally seen is the coating they put on the tips flaked off.

EDIT: It just occured to me, full 3" systems tend to be a bit raspy and louder on NA cars. In general NA cars are loud. If you're going FI soon, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Some manufactures are moving to a 2.75" pipe so that they can make one system for both NA and FI. It's almost as good as 2.5" for NA, and almost as good as 3" for FI.

I'd rather have the right exhaust for the right application.

I have the 3" with 5" Mufflers. If you went with the muffler delete or the 4" mufflers its going to be a bit raspy. The 5" isnt raspy at all. I have it paired with JDL UEL headers and theres a tad bit of rasp when i go WOT. But before the headers it was stock everything else and zero rasp. Fitment was perfect. Bought mine used.

Well, I have a nameless axle back, with 2.5" piping and 5" mufflers on my 2013 FR-S and the quality, workmanship, finish and fitment was perfect. Very little, if any rasp.

Not yet. They told me the axelback should be done in the next few days and that it should ship out by the end of the week

Did you get the 3" setup with 5" mufflers? Any other exhaust mods?

If you are running a stock exhaust back to the axle, you could chop the muffler off and you wouldn't hear any rasp. I wouldn't worry too much.

If you are running a catless header, catless front pipe and no resonator, there may be some rasp, but its the nature of the car. Mine has a bit of rasp and I like the sound.
