I think the dead horse does not need to be beaten anymore. This thread is not about Dyno techniques so lets stop the thread hijack. Make a new thread to discuss that. I just thank FT-86 SpeedFactory and move on. They took the time to do this so kudos to them. You have your opinion on Dyno thecniques, I respect it. Now let's keep the discussion on topic.

Thanks much for the info and effort. This is something I wouldn't ever expect to see on any forum unless someone was trying to sell a specific product. Great work!!

Thanks ft86 speed factory. I'm looking forward to seeing the results for all filters and will return this favor by ordering from you when the time comes. :happy0180:

The HKS has replaceable filters, so my questions are:
1 can you clean the filters or just replace filters? 2 how often^? 3 do you sell replacements? How much? Thanks! |

The HKS filter reminds me of a few other panel filters used, such as ITG. The foam style have been plagued with problems and longevity issues. HKS recomends replacing the filter every 10k miles, which kind of defeates the purpose of using a panel filter. I also came across this post a while back:
http://aclassblog.wordpress.com/2011...a-coincidence/ What do you think the chances are of this happening on the newer HKS filters? The price makes the HKS filter appealing alongside the numbers, but for 5$ more you can get the K&N filter, which wont disintegrate and doesnt need to be changed every 10k miles. Just posting this as an FYI, don't want anyone to ruin their cars.
