We've done a tune for a fair few 2016 cars now, just get in touch with your ECU ROM id and we can sort you out

The $1k difference in price between the CARB and non-CARB FI kits like JRSC and Edelbrock also includes the $500 ECUTek kit and license. Effectively JRSC/Edelbrock are charging $500 for the tune and CARB certification. I believe you can work with a vendor and save $500 if you already have an ECUTek, or just turn around and sell the one that comes with the kit.

Does the $6,500 Cosworth kit not come with an ECUTek cable and license?
hello
the ecutek and licence is not included in the kit but we've recently revised the kit content to now include the stage 1.0 hardware so the air filter, low temp thermostat and shiny badge

Also, does anyone have more information on the cooling system? As far as I know Cosworth is the only one to have heat exchangers in the manifold which I think is a really cool design and I'd like to know more about it especially because it does a great job cooling.
its an eaton TVS R900 and the cooling system uses a pair of water / air heat exchangers along with a 4 pass low temp radiator and a high flow electric pump to provide up to 40Kw of heat rejection -
this was sized to be sufficient to cope with the charger spinning at Vmax (20,000 rpm continous 24K inetermittantly) with charger exit temps of 120 degrees C but maintain 35 degrees IAT

Hey Matt,

I have my shiny Cosworth badge on the back of my car, much like your dev car. How do I go about getting another?

I wouldn't mind having another one as well. It would be nice to have an interior badge that says "Cosworth".

I only have the 1.0 and so there are no markings for me under the hood "bonnet" that say anything about Cosworth. I figured if I'm going to start spending the money it would be nice to have Cosworth displayed since that is something I would be proud to display.

Start with the Cosworth radiator hoses lol. I have my sticker on the intake box, like their car, and the badge/ plaque on the trunk, like their car.

Personally I think when someone sees the Cosworth badge they expect more than a remap and exhaust. I dobt blame them for including it in the stage 2. I didnt bother with "stage 1" I just bought the air filter, thermostat and licence separately and the stage 2 kit. I didn't get a badge but managed to buy one from a chap selling his stage 1 (he sold the car). I paid a grand total of £20 for it.

That's all I'm going to do to my car. Personally I don't want the supercharger. I want the car to be all it can be naturally. If you add the supercharger then you have other things you have to upgrade to keep everything in the proper balance, such as the brakes. I like the balance the way it is. I'm not knocking the supercharger... I think it's the best there is. But it's just not for me. Maybe on my second BRZ...

I still see my car as a Cosworth. Their meticulous attention to detail is not something you see in other tuners. I know that when I install something of theirs, it will have been meticulously tested for reliability first, performance second. I appreciate that and am proud to still have a badge on my non SC car.

We have them on order and should have them early next week along with any other BRZ/FRS Cosworth parts that you are interested in.

@RallySport Direct, Is there any chance you will be getting more radiator hose sets, part# COS2 20043832? The site listed it as discontinued. The thermostat was listed as discontinued yesterday but now it's back, btw...

That part at this moment is unavailable through us. As for the radiator hoses specifically, they may still be available but we can contact Cosworth for you. Please send an email to customerservice@rallysportdirect.com

No problems here. It's a great overall package for what you get. Were you going to use Cosworth's tune or getting something custom done?
