iJDMTOY Fog Lights

I just wanted to offer this post to warn any future potential buyers. Because of recent sales the FRS fog light kit from iJDMTOY was what looked liked a great deal.

However, since purchase it has been nothing but a headache. First I noticed the kit was sent with an H8 Bulb and one H11 bulb I then took a look at the housing when I went to install, and they too were different. It is as if they offered a previous version of the kit and the kits were mismatched and thrown together into one box.

After contacting the mft. they assured me this is the way the kit comes. They offered to send me the correct bulbs, but that does not correct the housing that obviously appear different. Furthermore they will not allow return of the product with out a 15% restocking fee as they can not identify the order as being defective....It is a shame they can not own up the mistake in packaging the kit.

The bulbs are an easy fix, but they will not allow to make this right to at least make the kit correct by matching the housing.

Do these look like a matching set to you?

Post better pictures for better opinions please. It's kind of hard to tell right now since the pictures look stretched.

I can try to get better pictures, however what I am focusing on is the hole around the bulb and the mirrored backing plate of each (one is curved while the other has sections)

I'm pretty hesitant with their products. They sell a lot of cheaper versions of products such as knock-off Valenti lights that look almost the same as the real ones, but come with cheaper wiring and gaskets. Kinda sad because it's given Valenti a bad name when their official lights don't really have issues.

Yes, I have previously picked up some interior LEDs for another vehicle with no problem, but it seems when it comes to kits like this, we all better stay away. I know I won't be looking around their stuff anymore.

I puchased this same set off of their eBay store and basically just threw away the actual fog lights...the wiring harness, oem fog light button, and fog light bezels are worth the 60 bucks without the crappy fog lights they provide. I ended up getting the diode dynamics led fog lights and they wired up to the harness just fine.
