Thanks man! Oem looking is the plan Its a super simple install. Shouldn't take more than 10 or 15 minutes. The hardest part is going to be lining itup perfectly

Yup, I gathered as much. I'll have to make sure that it also lines up properly with my FiveAd lip spoiler. Super excited though.

Some Updates on Miyuki
Just wanted to update this thread with some new things that happened to my build;
First off not much has really changed but I installed the extended Sard brackets from @pansontw Next thing is that I washed her up for our annual Norcal86 Summer Kickoff Also took home an award for best exterior! Scott got a great shot of all the board members at the end of the meet as well

Hey everyone..
More sad news, if you follow me on Instagram you would probably already know that Miyuki was hit yet again by another driver. This time in the parking lot of my own workplace by a coworker.. Damage is mostly to passenger door and some of the passenger rear quarterpanel. Will keep you guys updated as to what happens next but for right now theres a halt to the build. If you want to see pictures of the damage follow me on Instagram @Trevor.parque

I am sad to hear about such accident on this beautiful build. Just wondering if you use any weather strip on the body kit? If you do, which one?

The weather stripping came will all of the body pieces. I haven't added any because the stripping that comes on the TRD and Nur-Spec kits work fantastic and fitment of the parts are spot on anyways.

Thank you for your information. My kit only comes with the double sided tape but no weather strip.

Valenti Revo
Incoming posts....
I'm going to try and update this thread with all of the pics/mods/ whats been going on with this build in a somewhat accurate order.. First off; I had installed some Valenti Revo taillights in the full red style. Here's the new valenti's compared to my full red USDM TOMs So far I am really enjoying them and the sequential feature is very nice and bright. All the lights work as needed and was super easy to install. I believe with these light you just have to repin 2 wires.. Basically all that is needed is to switch those 2 pins and it works normally. I cant remember which 2 pins they are but I found a install video which included the repining process which anyone with a pick could easily do.

Water Pump/ Jackson Racing radiator fill neck
Next up I had a very loud whinning noise coming from the engine bay that would fluctuate with rpm. Would happen in gear or in neutral. After having it diagnosed by Neal over @The Racers Line was able to determine that my water pump was binding and needed replacement.
while we had the water pump replaced and the coolant was drained, we decided to throw in the Jackson Racing aluminum radiator filler neck that I had won from a Norcal86/86Drive end of summer meet.

KW V3 coilovers/ Verus(Velox) Top Hats
After searching for my ideal coilover setup to replace my Tein springs and worn out oem shocks I decided to go with the KW V3 coilover system. The reasoning behind me choosing this system is due to its adjustability and a lot of great reviews on these for a adjustable DD/Track day car. That's exactly what I needed something that is comfortable on the street for daily driving as well as is adjustable for when I go to the track. Also the tremendous support for these coils and seeing other people's trial and error on the forum for ideal setups are a great plus! Not to mention the great coloring and the stainless steel body are also a great plus.
I ended up pairing these coilovers with the Verus (formally known as Velox) top hats for camber adjustment up front.

Idler pulley/ Drive belt destruction
I started hearing the same whirring noise from the engine bay one day and after taking the belt off and checking all of the pulleys, I found that one of my idler pulleys had started to seize. I was able to hit the back side of the pulley with some brake cleaner to clean out all the dirt and grime for a temporary fix to the noise until I could order a new pulley from the dealer.
Installed the new pulley and the noise went away A couple of days to approximately a week later I had started to smell a burning rubber/plastic kind of smell while driving and hopefully I was close enough to the house to pull over and inspect the engine bay. Come to find out that one of the bolts for the alternator cover had rattled out and the cover had completely ripped the drive belt to shreds. Pulled off the drive belt and inspected everything else for further damage and found one of the bolt guides (little silver rings in the alternator cover) stuck between the crank pulley and block. Removed the bolt guide. inspected for further damage and did not find anything besides shreds of the drive belt all over the engine bay and on the header.. Installed new drive belt that I already had at the house because I had purchased one when I got the new idler pulley just in case something like this happened. Vehicle started fine and drove fine after the new drive belt was installed. the bugger that caused this whole mess... lesson learned.. Make sure to DOUBLE CHECK all bolts/fasteners when working on your vehicle. Especially these alternator/AC covers.
