That's probably a much fairer vehicle to compare to. While we of course also don't have legit info on Supra dimensions (yet), I wouldn't be surprised to find it to be similar to a C5 in most every dimension, except probably a bit shorter. Of course when it comes to handling, totally different story.

And all speculation, of course, but I don't think it's not sound. At least until Motor Trend leaks an internal Toyota memo of the car dimensions that they got while having a meeting at Los Pollos Hermanos with an engineer who agreed to meet as long as they could stay anonymous.
Agreed, C5 much closer and better comparison (most likely). Very exited about this car regardless and the whole direction Toyota is going in. Tada FTW as always... Let's hope that secret fried-chicken interview happens soon so we can come back and discuss!

That makes sense given that the wheelbase of the Z4 was 98. So, somewhere between 2800 and 3000 is not out of the realm of disbelief.
The Z4 coupe wasn't any lighter.

If you've never driven a camaro for yourself, how do you know how it feels to drive? I guess you can look at the specs and say "its heavier, therefore it must not handle as well as a lighter car" but unless you've driven a car yourself, you can't really say with any credibility that you know it doesn't handle as well as another car...

Meh. "Physics" is a real thing that tends to stay consistent.

Go back and read what I wrote, cause now you're just pushing your opinion without caring about what anyone else says, so why should anyone care what you say? If you actually want to be taken seriously be open to new information, it just might make you understand things better. Who would've thought of that?

You refute the claim, but you didn't list any cars that you thought deserve the title more. The car is big, but the magnetic suspension is no gimmick. The Camaro outperforms cars on the track that cost three times as much. It's no slouch, that's for sure.
