Some food for thought.

@BRZkitty - keep at it, and the speed will come! Get those basics mastered, and I'll have some new things to work on soon enough.
@kster1 - You have a firm grasp of basic car control. Focus on braking earlier, entering the corner composed, and powering out. I'd recommend doing a session or two at every track day with the wing taken off.
@sdlynx - get more comfortable with putting down the power exiting corners, and you'll pick up a lot of time!
@juliog - brake earlier, and work on making your brake and throttle control smoother (more analog)
@MyRx - MIA! :p
@rb6freak - get used to powering out of corners, and stick to the higher gears, but increase boost slowly before using the lower gears.
@mkivsoopra - Fix the suspension! That's just scary on track. We didn't get too much accomplished, today due to the suspension issues, so I'll comp you a session the next time around.
@sw20kosh - don't coast through corners! Use the whole track.

yeah I was MIA as well due to similar reasons... 10th anniversary so a track day was out of the question haha. But I've signed up for 10/25 and 10/26 at Thunderhill.

How to go off at 90+:

[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=khfnpqlRNY4"]Going off exiting riverside - YouTube[/ame]

I was late turning towards the apex/exit of riverside.. plus I had/have some understeer issues with my setup :P, which causes my front tires to easily overheat if I'm not being careful.

The NorCal group is great - all nice people and I enjoyed tracking with you guys. Hope I can join you guys again at Thunder or Seca. I only filmed one session, here is a video of one of my laps. I forgot my suction cup mounts so I just shoved the camera between the seat headrest.

I am still too scared of the powaaaa.

Thanks for hanging out this weekend and all the advice.

@MyRx The awesome Bonus Session at the end of the day today was basically an 86 run group with 2 BMW's an s2k and the rest of us. No traffic for anyone except @CSG Mike lol. I wish we could have an 86 only run group. It was so much fun.

Great weekend hanging/driving with yall

Nice controlled off! No drama.

I had understeer issues too but I enjoyed playing around with some throttle lift induced oversteer to rotate. lol

Julio's off was due to cooking the front tires; the SRCs are designed to slightly understeer (~4%), and it was slightly exacerbated by the +35 offset wheels and further exacerbated by the wing.

Your car is pushy due to the spring rates (~18%). Lift-off rotation is okay, but you don't want to do it too much with a turbo car. You have just enough grip where the torsen + lift off weight transfer + immediate power delivery all adds up to adding rotation, but it's a small window.

Great meeting everyone on Saturday! (I was in the Blue BRZ #138) Last time I was at Buttonwillow I had the stock tires. The AD08Rs are a night-and-day difference. Can't wait to try them out at Thunderhill.

Awesome shots. Glad you made it out and had a good time with us Norcal

Try to make it October 25/26 at Thunderhill...

I know 3xx miles is a long drive BUT here are some reason to come out:

1. new track
2. cyclone (2nd day only / 1st day run bypass)
3. pTuning challenge (pre-arrange with @mkivsoopra n @sw20kosh)
4. 86s cup
5. Track weather: sub 80

... more to come

hurry up its filling up quick!
