Besides the clutch and stuff like that, what else does a new assembly need to be complete? Out of curiosity I did a quick search for online OEM dealers, and found one selling new units for a little over $6k (list is $8100).

@FullBlown the whole setup should mate with a r154 with no issues ?

I don't think the r154 will fit because of how the shifter is laid out on that trans. We had to get pretty creative to fit the v160

For me it would be at the point you need a new transmission and rear end to put the power down. I don't live my life a quarter mile at a time though.
