Changing oil and reset maintenance interval light

I will have my friend change oil for me, is there a service interval light in our cars we have to reset? If so, how?

I know there isn't on the pre-2017 models. There may be something on the digital information screen on the 2017+ vehicles. I'll bet your Owner's Manual has the answer

Any lube and go place/auto parts store can do that for cheap/free.
But eh? Who knows. Wish there was a magical book that can tell you all of this oh wait.....
