Weight gain will be marginal. Driver weight differences will be on the same order as the weight added by the aero kit. The whole bumper cover on my old 2.5RS was probably 10lbs or so. Exhaust may be lighter than the standard one to cancel out the difference (I doubt it, but who knows.)

Given the limited numbers and extra cost, no way the RS 1.0 stays classed with the base model. The SAC hasn't forgotten the lessons from the MSR and Z0K so quickly. And if they have, well, TTD looks inviting...

What about trd springs? I'm pretty sure they're an option now.

If they are, are they allowed?

Still on the stock shocks and stock bars.
Would this have the same effect as pushing the top of the strut inward while the 3 bolts on the top are tightened?

Yes, but how much weight can you realistically exert on your own? Using a jack allows you to leverage the weight of the car and hold it in place while you tighten.

Well, if you have two people doing the install, one can push in while the other tightens the nuts.

I figure the camber gained will be based upon the amount of play in the holes where the top hat studs go. Even if you can apply 500 lbs of force vs 50lbs, as long as the studs on the top hat are as close inward as the mounting holes will allow, that'll be your max camber gained.

If you think differently, I'd like to understand that. Just trying to see what difference it'll be from what I've done already using two people. Not hard to loosen the 3 nuts and use the jack if its better.

I tested those methods on my WRX which has the same front suspension. There are no bushings or anything so having a friend push is just as good as using a jack, the jack just lets you do it by yourself.

Agree on the RS 1.0, I'm not sure they'll even class it and if they do it'll get stuck in BS.

The real question becomes "is 50 pounds truly enough force to move that strut to the ultimate max camber position?" The answer to the question is irrelevant if you're using 500 pounds. Every fraction of a millimeter matters here and I don't like leaving anything on the table.

For those who have run the 235/45-17 Dunlop ZII. What kind of tire pressures were you running?

I ran them on my GTI, does that count?

I'm running that size, but different brand of tire (and also 225s up front), with only crash bolts. 35.5 psi front and 36 rear felt really nice last time out.
