As has been said many times 99% of the spoilers on these cars are for cosmetic reasons only. Nothing wrong with that either (unless you have a monster wing on an otherwise stock car then you just look silly).

OP, what people are trying to get across is the spoiler will not matter for your daily driving. Also don't worry about what spoiler other people like, it's your car.

The FR-S has an almost ideal rear slant angle for drag reduction; a well designed, quality spoiler will net you a very slight decrease in the coefficient of drag because it will deflect the flow coming off the trunk slightly higher. I believe the video containing a lot of information regarding this is still posted on the front page of the website. I don't think either will net you notable benefit for regular street use, so if you're set on adding a spoiler for the cosmetic appeal, I would just pick the one you like in that regard. A large wing will likely hurt mpg and depending on where you live I would be concerned about it attracting negative attention to your car. |

What the hell!?
At least it appears to be functional... Super beefy tires. I would be paranoid of that thing falling off every time I drive. |
