Are you Cliff and gtengr? If not then why signing as such? If so why were you talking to yourself? I am confused. The owners manual doesn't say much other than the car has the feature. Unlike the higher end cars it does not change due to road conditions.

I will have to try this, as I'm nearly always starting the car on a level surface.

Maybe this is it and it makes no active adjustments. This is the only explanation for how it is both auto level equipped and still able to blind oncoming traffic in certain conditions. FWIW, I always noticed the initial adjustment on the M3. |

FYI -- there's a leveling sensor attached to the driver's rear control arm for the 2017 BRZ's. If you've modified the rear LCA, be sure this sensor is attached.

I'm so happy this thread came up. I looked down and noticed the control for this the other day. I wondered why one of my light levels was set to 0 so I set it to 4. I've spent the last few days wondering why my beams looks too low.

If you read your owner manual you could learn all sorts of cool stuff and not have to wonder or have it randomly pop up on the internet.

They are manually adjustable from the back of the headlight, there is an 8mm adjustment knob.
