Wait until the temperature is consistently above 40. Cold is the problem for the summer tires not snow.

I've had my 86 two weeks now, and it happens to me inadvertently every few days with nannies on and AT. Lots of gravel and puddles around my commuting area. I'm looking forward to getting out of the break-in period and into an empty lot.

I hit at least one nice corner a day where I step out just a tad and I reserve Friday for finding a parking lot to do one smokey donut with a drift at the end. I understand the appeal of loose, worn tires as I had a lot of fun just before I replaced the OEMs.

Just got new tires a few weeks ago because my prius tires were beat already and would lose traction accelerating hard in 1st and 2nd. I was constantly slipping the rear before i changed em. It's fun as hell, one of the greatest perks of the car.

Does not take much to get the traction light to flicker on this car. Pretty much any day when it is wet, I seem to provoke it.

"Break traction"

I guess weekly. I like to brake early then just stay on the power through corners, but I am typically within the speed limit, and I stay around 3K, but you reach that point where the car wants to rotate - but it's not crazy and typically I just get that gnarly front-brake intervention that forces you back in line.

Only if raining and by accident ie being too enthusiastic for the conditions. Stock tires have more than enough grip otherwise at stock power levels.

I wish there was a way i can turn off the aids (Hold left button) and keep it that way every time I start. The only time I've been 'saved by the stability control is on the track on a big sweeper which I went in way too hot.

It just snowed a good amount overnight and I didn't even count how many times I kicked the tail out(totally controlled). If the streets or driveway is any slick,I try to do it whenever I can.
