There are probably more than 30 2ZZ running 10k rpms. Thanks Lotus crew and other companies that used this engine as a base for their kit cars.
I do not know why someone is doubting this so much. K20 can get near that number can't they? The original GTS corolla was running 9,500 for a lot of people too. Now the F20 is running into the 9,200-9,500 range. Why yall doubting the possiblities? You should say X,XXX RPM is my goal and work to get there instead of just saying it is impossible for one person or another to achieve that goal. Also, someone mentioned 4-5k in engine mods. That is not breaking the bank, that is playing in the sandbox.
