How to upgrade an AT FRS transmission?

Been adding more and more power to the frs lately. Was just wondering what there is to do to an automatic transmission to make it able to withstand higher hp. I am very new to how transmissions work and what can be done/if anything can be done to give myself more security while thrashing my vehicle.

I honestly have no clue, never dyno'd my car.

Current Performance mods: front pipe, over pipe, full catback, UEL headers, CAI, LCP

Bolt ons should prob be ok. Its the FI guys that really abuse it. But the SSP thread is the thing to follow as they are the tuners who will be seeing the limits.

The AT is powerful enough to withstand around 350whp, from what limits folks here have pushed the tran.

By your list, you're likely more than fine. Unless, you're looking to do a tranny swap to MT or go FI?

I'd bet that unless you have a built engine running a bunch of boost, the stock AT will be just fine.

I think Stage 1 FI is alright. It's Stage 2 that gets scary. Then you start moving to new transmission, new rear end, injectors.... the list goes on. I'd be happy with 300 whp and call it a day. This car will still haul ass because of its weight.

My goal someday is a stage 1 turbo, 300-330 whp, around 10 PSI on 93 oct, possibly flex fuel. Anything past that seems a lot riskier and deeper wallet demanding.
