Does anyone have APPRADIO2 installed?

I'm looking to get the appradio2 from pioneer installed when I get my frs
For starters, I know a parking switch relay is required as well as a doubledin fitment kit since the frs has 200mm spacing (180mm is standard). I currently use the 4S with compatible gps software and I can use appradio2 extensions (jailbroken app) that allows me to turn off the connectivity pop up.

I want to ask if anyone has this headunit installed and whether it's good and convenient, or unstable and considered garbage. I absolutely adore the home screen for its simplicity and am willing to look past small imperfections.

From what i know since i want this unit too, appradio2 extensions (lastest version is beta)will make both headunit and phone unstable. but since we don't have controls in steeringwheel it'll be nice to have siri do things for you like dial out (oem voice commands does not have a good voice recognition)

PrimeMotoring has a one piece fitting kit and metra has a 2 piece (left+righ).

I'm waiting until the entire cover with a 180mm space is available.

I have a AVH-P8400BH, which has App Radio features. I have a non-jailbroken iPhone 4. The App Radio features do work, but they are persnickety and prone to freezing up and otherwise doing things I don't want. It feels like it's not quite there in terms of development.

I think we used a Metra install kit to fit the head unit in the dash.

I do love the sound quality, the easy control of the iPod, and the display.

By the way, I still have my stock BRZ navi head unit, and the accompanying amp and speakers, for sale...

I purchased the AppRadio SHP-DA100 to install in my FR-S. It won't fit without an adaptor so I'm going to try the Metra 95-8202 Dash Kit. I have all the components to perform the install except the FR-S. It won't be at the dealer until November 9th. I'll post pictures of the install once I have the car.
