Yep it's a bummer, I reached out to them a few times and they suggested I go to a fabricator to have it moved or a new pipe made....

If using rom raider
download mafscaling-2.5.1
hopefully your tuned on g rom
log with G SERIES ROM logcfg from this site
load log in mafscaling 2.51
copy corrected maf table, load to rom raider and flash.

I just got this working a couple of days ago and its almost like having a automated tuning ecu.
about 100 times faster than reading logs and correcting each cell.

Has little to do with smaller turbo size efficiency.
I'm sorry but you're wrong. It doesn't have to do with effiiency, it has to do with turbine volume. If you have a smaller volume for the same amount of fluid (exhaust gases) it will spool faster.

That's exactly how twin scrolls are designed. One chamber is smaller, the other larger. One will spool it faster the other will give better top end efficiency with less restriction.

Thanks for the insight. Do you know if other owners besides the OP have the same issue?

Not sure, I haven't heard of many people with the kit. Tuner said it was common to this kit, and Treadstone hasn't commented, in fact they are very hard to contact.

Aw shucks. I liked the design of the kit specifically being able to use the FMIC and factory crash bar.

I'm going to guess that the whole routing around the crash bar etc is one of the reasons for the turbulent MAF readings. Then again, I'm not an engineer, but I haven't had any solid answers.

Yeah I think you may be right. I think I’m gonna look at the Full-race Borg Warner Kit.
