Doesn't your parents property taxes fall under prop 13 .....??

If so, why would they be forced to move .. ??

More depressing house talk?

Supposedly our place lost money lately, if redfin is to be believed. And they're probably not. But still. Oh well, nothing to do with money but spend it or lose it. Technically this is spent, not lost till we sell.

I expect I won't be able to afford a cardboard box under a bridge come official retirement age, but I may age out of my job in the next couple years... sadly, I've not yet worked half of my theoretical working years...

Her school. I don't care about her career. As soon as she's done school, we're moving north of the GTA and I will be buying a house.

She doesn't want to change school districts until she is done.

Oh, I suggest you get another on-line opinion on the value of your house (Zillow). I have found that Zillow's algorithm is pretty good these days.

Besides, the value of a house is what the seller is willing to sell it for and a buyer is willing to pay for it. Chew on that fer ah spell .....

If you don't want to "age out" of a job ....... go into real estate ....... no-no, don't do that ......just kidding ......

PS - at least you're not upside down in your house ........

I get the feeling it would be a combination of chemistry, along with some ME work to actually capture the fart.

Easily solved by a pre-nuptial agreement.
