My DGM brz

My first post.

Picked up my dgm brz premium on monday. I got lucky and just called the dealer who happened to have one available. It was a preorder who backed out. His loss my gain. This is my 4th subaru. This is my first rear wheel drive car

First impressions

SEXY! This car is very fun to drive. The motor sounds great and the transmission shifts precisely and crisp. The steering is incredible and you feel connected with the road. Every turn I feel like breaking the rear end loose. When I have I feel like i'm in control of the car and not like i'm out of control. The seats really plant you into the car, they're comfortable too. The headrest is something I want to point out. It feels like a pillow. This is the first car that I have ever used the headrest since its so soft and when I hit bumps its not uncomfortable.

My complaints

There are no steering wheel controls and the head unit appears like an aftermarket unit. I would have liked more integration into the car with the radio and bluetooth controls.

The visors, turn signals, and windsheild wiper lever feel cheap compared to everything else inside.

The rear seats are pretty much useless and trunk space is extremely limited. But the rear seats do completly fold down to make room. I used this feature today as I transported some golf clubs.

overall excellent car. This isn't transportation, this is a drivers car. No it doesn't have much power, but it is very light and still a blast to drive.

UPDATE: Just hit 1000 miles and really got to open her up... its even faster than I expected, still loving the car and today I got to go and snap some photos that i'll add soon

Congratulations on the new car. I brought home my BRZ today too. I totally agree with you on the headrest, it feels like a pillow.

Congrats on the car! I noticed you got the dealer to skip the hole drilling in your front bumper. What are your plans for the front license plate?

havent really thought about it, my last car I never even put one on. I'll leave it empty until the law gets involved.
