RSR Black-i

Hey everyone,

So I just had installed the brand new RSR Black-i coilovers on my FRS. These are the first production set to be installed. The Black-i were designed to ride just as good, but IMO better than stock and have the capabilities to lower your car practically to the ground. These were not designed for the excessive abuse of tracking, but are still very capable at the track.

Previous to these I only rode stock for 2k and then another 4k on Center Gravity Springs. The CG springs were great for springs; had a nice drop (1.4in) and rode a little better than stock. However, after driving a few hundred miles on the RSR I'm a huge fan. It's amazing how the car feels now. You feel so much more in control of the car and it is so responsive. It even accelerate better with the coils.

Now I'll be honest, this is my first set of coils and I'm not an engineer of suspension, so please don't think that haha. This is just my personal experience and I wanted to share it with the 86 community.

I would just like to thank Young and Meng from FRS86 for the install and great service in providing the suspension. Please check out their website; all their products are high quality for the FRS/BRZ (www.frs86.com). Also, Ben from RSR for helping out with the install as well.

FYI, I can still go about 20mm lower front and back. Enjoy the pics.

They're not just axhaust tips, it's the Ark DT-S Exhaust. Also, available at www.frs86.com. It has a deeper tone than most systems.
