Painted dash panels
Didn't see a thread on this, so I'll make one.
Had my silver trim painted WRB to match the car. Adds some warmth inside, deep enough it doesn't distract. Anyone else tried this on another color? |

IAG Performance did the painting, it's the same WRB Pearl/clear that comes on the car. It looks like more in the pic than it feels like in the car. I don't look down to see the wheel part. The 5am drive to work, all were pitch black/not reflecting too much light. /shrug. I wouldn't want to do it in a white car though.

Do you have a pic from another angle, say from the passenger side with the door open? I thought about color matching my dash panel to the car (Galaxy Blue in my case) but I was a little apprehensive.
I don't want to sound too critical but I think there's a little too much blue in your interior now. If you like it then don't change it though, certainly!

Heh, pics are hard but I'll see what I can do. It definitely feels like more blue in the pics than you notice since it's all below eye level. If that big dash bit wasn't blue, I'd forget it was done. Radio trim is so thin you don't notice usually.
I'll try to get some other angles tonight. |

Hehe the dash bit the one I'm actually less in love with. Radio trim is subtle, same with handles/vent trims.
I'm curious to see this on some other colors. Galaxy, lava, firestorm, DGM.... |

If only the stitchings were blue then it'll match perfectly, but right now those red lines are making it look a little out of place

It does looks like a quality job. Usually when I see people do this, they spray paint it themselves. Actually... I think this is the first time I've ever seen it professionally done.
