You have to remember that this car is being DEVELOPED with Subaru.

This doesn't mean that each manufacturer will have their own version with only TOYOTA parts, and Subaru with only Subbie parts.

It means both cars will have elements from both manufacturers, and this doesn't prove anything at all.

Also remember, the Toyota version is coming out first. There's no reason a Subaru version would be tested first. In fact, there's no proof a Subaru design has even started yet. They're not in a hurry.

I'm guessing for the most part that the front bumper, headlights, hood, fenders, doors, etc. will be swappable from each version. The FR-S concept even seems to indicate that when compared to the FT-86 II concept. Think Levin vs. Trueno, Firebird vs Camaro, same concept.

BTW, just because Subaru hasn't released the same info, pics etc doesn't mean the design doesn't exist.

Seeing as how they are all basically the same car underneath, it doesn't matter what version they are testing now as it will apply to all versions of this car.

What I'm saying is that trying to identify if this car is a Subaru or a Toyota based on design and/or part resemblance is pointless.

It's both.

Although the car will be the same underneath, I'm also saying it would be silly for the prototype to be driven around and tested with an un-released Subaru design.

In easier terms: I'm about 90% positive this is the Toyota version. The Subaru elements should be expected and are not conducive.

Wow boring.... toyota going backwards if thats the production. It will then result in minimal sales followed by its discontinuation. One of the main reasons why I've grown to like this car are the head lights and tail lights. What happened to "exciting" lol.

The car looks very bland to me. You can make out most of the lines on the body underneath the vinyl and it still does not look very good.

Totally agree with Tom, don't worry about look of the car, trust Toyota, they need really go back in sport car Segment, if they not people will forget them for a lonnnnnggg time, they always did well by the past, give them a chance ! The LF-A is specially a good exemple.

They just want to lie to the other company / Paparazzi, and keep their baby in safe

This. OMG people. All versions of this car are going to be recognizable as siblings. There ain't going to be any radical changes between versions.
