My 1JZGTE stock TB is the same diameter as the stock FR-S/BRZ one .. no restriction..

I replaced the tb on my old ford probe V6 way back when. It does make a slight intake noise difference, but the old butt dyno didn't reveal much. That said, it was without a tune. I'm guessing a properly tuned larger tb should give maybe 3-5hp increase over stock. Just my guessing though.

change the TB and have to retune the idle speed control... lot of work
