Well that wasn't my intention. He just has a very "loud" voice on here. I don't want some of the less informed people to take some of the misinformation as fact. I don't have anything personally against him. I would love to see him turn the corner and realize what pisses everyone off. I believe he has a lot to offer the community if we can just get over the hump, so-to-speak.

I can only hope that you and everyone can understand from my post that no one is out there looking specifically to see where he slips and crucify him about it. We are all just educated enthusiast who have had this situations happen a lot and we would like it all to stop. That's our point, it's nothing personal against anyone, our message is "stop spreading inaccurate information".

I don't want to drag this anymore and this will be my last post about it.

Just as a quick example, yesterday I posted in the Vortech thread in reply to F1point4 disagreeing about some kit numbers. He was the outmost gentlemen and the discussion ended in two very likable and nice posts, and I was doing the exact same thing, correcting some inaccurate information. That was all my intention no more no less. It was the same in this thread. No one is gangbanging trying to be bullies....

Enough of this let it end here. Vortech 3rd party reviews please!!!!

Same old gang doing the same old stuff. How about you guys just agree to disagree and stop pissing in each other's threads. I'm really tired of seeing this crap. Gem has plenty to contribute, as long as he isn't pissing in your precious threads, you guys probably shouldn't make it a point to come piss in his.

This thread was pretty damn informative until the 2forme gang v. gem crap started flying.

I am currently looking for a functional yet not obnoxious rear wing to help get the rear to behave. Finding my ideal suspension settings on the KW V3's is a little out of my league and I am waiting to have them professionally adjusted. If you don't mind me asking what spring rates are you running? Also I have found that I have a hard time getting the rear tires to hook up and I'm only at 260WHP so I wouldn't mind a ballpark suspension setup to start at to get things sorted. If not, I understand.
give me a call if you want to go over some setting changes. Been there done that.

Ok back on topic, suspension guy leaving the room.

I just wish everyone would play nice so we can see some dyno numbers and feedback from other people driving Gem's car.

Since when is everything on forums truthful? They are some of the most opinionated sources of information available. As others have said, I think it would be nice to hear what Gem's opinions are, and think he has some valuable insights. If you have doubts about his info, start a new thread and debate what ever you want there. He is helping bring a sought after product to us. Lets leave the "he lies" posts out of these threads. Buy your FI of choice and start your own thread.

Most of us don't want to go through page after page of meaningless arguments in a thread that should be 2 pages with a review, and his dyno results.

I for one have no love lost for Gem but I'll give someone a second chance. It's just the internet after all. If I had better things to be doing, I'd be doing them... or maybe I'm an addict... either way it's all beside the point.

The real point is....

What I find fascinating about this whole thread is how many people are posting from their phones. Seriously, from your phones? And all that text?.. Aren't your thumbs tired?

I'm still reading this thread hoping the dyno results. Gem, when you can, there is still a lot of interest in what this kit can do.

The 3 cars with this kit @ Phasetek all dynoed around 225whp.

Since Gem has the super secret ultra 10psi pulley (not sure how it can differ from any other 10psi pulley since the pressure is based off the size of the pulley LOL), he will probably see 245 if he has a good batch of gas.

Gem tried very hard to be good at the beginning of this thread, but he got side tracked and got defensive and the shit hit the fan... again. He's deleted and/or edited his posts to remove the offending material. It seems to me he's trying to be good again. If he can try so can I. I'm not interested in a mob mentality, lets get the heathen... I like you and value your opinion here, but I'm not going to write him off if he's willing to be a positive addition to the community.

Gem might have an even smaller pulley, he might have a revised compressor that can flow more etc. etc. I don't like the super secret stuff either, but he is testing and probably has a NDA which is stopping him from telling us more. If the super secret is that he's making 245hp I still want to know. From everything I've heard, or haven't heard as Vortech wont publish any info about the compressor, I'm starting to think they may have chosen the wrong compressor. It seems to me that either I'm wrong and Gem and Perrin have the right parts to get more out of the original compressor or I'm right and Perrin and Gem both are testing a revision.

Either way both Perrin and Gem have hinted at bigger gains coming from Vortech, and I'm interested in the kit so I'm still following the threads.

Something tells me more at 255-265. At 10psi but I don't think he's at 10psi now.

I guess we will have to wait and see

Fixed for you.

Didn't know I had a gang. That's pretty cool, though. I feel like a crusader for truth. Hey gang, we should get jackets or something.
