Don't worry Gemhooker, lesson learned. Next time I will quote your post before you delete it. I mean, play dumb, that's fine. I know what I read and thanked sk20wosh post because he responded exactly what I thought when I read your post.

Also, you didn't seem to read my post. I specifically said that was beyond the point. But again, keep playing dumb, it will work for a while.

Gem you did say none of the TC's seem to be able to keep 10 psi to redline. You edited your post. Play dumb all you want but you keep posting things like this and are somehow shocked that people get upset at your baseless "facts".

Ofcourse not all turbos run outta breath all top, likewise not all twin screws do either, but in the most of the kits I am seeing on the market most dont put out 9-10psi up top, or down below.

Guys calm down, let's not turn this into a TC vs SC thread please.

I for one am interested in other reviews of this supercharger, and mindless arguing doesn't help anything.

The TCs out on the market currently all look very good, and price competitive. The thing I like about the vortech is its more linear power delivery.

Anything past that is just bickering. AVO posted 240 with stg 1, Vortech's SCs post similar gains. There's also room for improvement in both kits (TC moreso). (This is just one comparison - there's also other TCs on the market I know, I've been watching FBMs kit which looks like a monster)

My point is, can't we just stay on topic, and if you're all so uptight about TC vs SC start a new thread about it maybe? Its a small 4 cyl engine, I never really expected much out of SCs but it looks promising from the numbers I've seen.

You see, that is not our point. We DON'T want to make it TC vs SC thread, AT ALL. Gem MAKES it a TC vs SC discussion with his inaccurate information which sometimes doesn't even makes sense. To top it off, he tries to make me look like a liar editing his post and as you can see, I was not lying. THAT is a huge problem, don't call me out and even worse with lies.

This type of posts was what got him banned the first time. Listen, I don't have the most minimum problem with any type of FI AT ALL. My only problem are the Lies and BS information being posted by OP.
@2forme thank you so much for uncovering yet another stupid lie.

So @Huehuecoyotl wanna reconsider your position that you did not post turbos are not holding 9-10 psi of boost at redline? Child please.....

He was never unbanned, he just made this new username the same day @gmookher was banned, stayed quiet and easygoing for around two months (I knew from first day it was him), then started back full force like before once I uncovered him in the public.... Only time will tell if he is banned in this new ID too.

I wouldn't say he stayed quiet... went straight to work trolling the AVO and innovate threads. I called it out on the 18th of Jan :p

I highly doubt it. I have yet to see a kit even make the fabled 247 hp that Perrin posted on the stock pulley. It has, however, made 215-ish hp after a 15% boost.

See my reply above. I'll give you the power delivery, but this kit isn't in the same league power wise as any of the TC kits I've seen. Perrin is the only one who made it above 220whp, and even then, that was on a manufacturer's dyno (dynapack) with full exhaust.

Not trying to troll, but let's keep this kit within it's realistic limits. It does have a very linear power delivery until 6500 RPM or so, but that's not the SC's fault. This motor starts choking on it's own after that. Not only that, but you won't need to upgrade your clutch or injectors with this kit at all. So that can save you some cash unless you have power goals above 250.

Meh, the centrifugal SC is basically a turbo driven by the engine crank instead of utilising exhaust gas so losing more power in doing so.
As for the Twin screw, it is kind a combination of roots with the lobes and with compressors as screws on the lobe surface.. not hard to see this is a much more superior setup.

Pretty easy to spot the troll if he said anything against the avo or innovate.

Hmm well I am at 252 HP and that is at high altitude. I am pretty sure 300 can be reached.
