Everybody keeps saying that the car is ugly- its a concept! lol I bet it drives like hell though- that 250hp upgrade is what this car needs-

As several of the reviewers said, a turbo would not only throw-off the amazing balance, but also steal from the direct response they felt from the pedal-

I AM hyped- hopefully this means Subaru is serious about what they said months ago about delivering a more powerful version- this is the car I'm waiting for- I'll be first in line next year to get one

Only thing they could have put on the concept is those golden rims

here's to hoping the STi model comes in under 35k

Man call me crazy but, I really would be tempted to- no other in that price range- except a Porche is gonna drive like it- But still 40K is high

About the 2-tone remarks... well... a stock BRZ already comes with a black bumper guard, black tail pipe surround, and black on the fender garnish and side mirror housings. The STI skirts enhance the existing stock black pieces, IMO. I just don't like the STI rear spoiler and how the carbon hood contrasts to reveal the ugly square-ish hood line.
Yes I think it will.

About the 2 tone.... I think a wheel chop is in order for me

Here's a sneak peak at what I'm working on. I don't have a good side shot yet (it's been raining).

I like my arms where they are, I prefer not to give them up for my suspension. They probably spare no expense for test bed cars.
It was sweet to see Bilstein on the STi though

More info on this vent

I think most of the STI body bits don't look great. I wish they stuck with something more like the chargespeed sideskirts instead of ones that creep up the sides like that. The wing is questionable at best. The carbon fiber roof is nice though. 6 pounds off the top of the car is great!

Where was this piece? I really wanted to see this thing so I can replace the crappy one on my car. I don't care if it's rice! I'll add a STI oil filter to make it legit.

Anyone know of a replacement vent that looks like a real vent.BRZ vent has great style if you stay 20feet away, just one nasty penny crunching corner.

Wheels don't suit.

Kit is underwhelming. Needs to be much more aggressive.

Rear spoiler is -- hang on, THAT'S A SPOILER??

Bonnet needs to be colour-coded.

Only nice thing is the roof really, and maybe the exhaust.

I'm sorry, but every time I see people call matte finish carbon fiber "dry carbon" and glossy finish carbon fiber "wet carbon". I cringe. A lot.

Now to teach you and everyone else reading the difference.

Dry carbon fiber can have a glossy "wet" or matte "dry" look to it.

Wet carbon fiber can have a glossy "wet" or matte "dry" look to it.

How can you determine which one is which from looking at it? You can't.

The terms "Wet" and "Dry" carbon fiber refer to the manufacturing process used to make the pieces. Wet carbon fiber needs to have the "wet" epoxy poured on. Dry Carbon comes pre-impregnanted with the resin thus, "dry".

Dry carbon is exorbitantly more expensive, but usually has fewer air bubbles/pinholes and is much lighter.

P.S. You can paint wet or dry carbon, even if it has a matte or glossy finish.
