I'm going to Leguca Seca hosted by SpeedSF on President's Day. It'll be my second time driving on that track.

Figure I'd get better responses here. What cordless impact guns do you all use at the track/garage? Mostly looking for doing the wheels but occasionally get that stubborn bolt off

Ingersoll Rand W7150 at home (1/2"), W5132 if I bring one to the track (3/8")

Not sure if this is the exact one but I picked up a Dewalt from Lowes a while back because it was what they had. It was on sale and was fairly affordable so I went with it. It gets the job done but sometimes I wish I had a smaller impact for tight spots but this works fine. I use it for wheels, suspension bits, whatever.

What sucks was when I bought it, they didn't have the whole package with charger and battery so I had to buy the batteries separate. Guess what? They only come in damn 2 packs.

This is the Northern California sub-forum. So I doubt it

Registration for SCCA Tracknights at T-hill west just opened. For those who haven't done one, it's basically a "half track day". They're usually held on a Thursday, from 2pm to 7pm and you'd get three 20-min sessions for about half the price of a regular track day ($150).

https://www.tracknightinamerica.com/...ornia-april-19

Right now they have a $25 discount for early registration and you can get another $25 off your first track night with coupon code: ForPeopleWhoLoveCars. That's a $100 trackday!

Just registered for April 19. Hope to see some of you guys there!

It was nice not having to get up at the crack of dawn when we did this last year. Don't think I'll make any this year though since I'm trying to make more 86Drive Challenge events.

Boo! haha, ya, these track nights are pretty ideal for me since it just costs me a 1/2 day vacation vs a whole Sat/Sun and have the Mrs be pissed at me while she deals with the kids by herself lol

Maybe I'll see you guys at the tail end of the 86Drive Challenge season.
