So dropped car off at shop for SC install!!! Total awesomeness. Even got a ride to Enterprise to grab a rental. The fun ended.

So in New Jersey if you have a Visa debit card and you are from out of state you need crazy ass shit with you. They were asking for check stub, utility bill, other shit I didn't have on me. $200 dollar cab ride + tolls is what me being a fucking idiot costs.

That's because it's Jersey. There is a reason they don't charge you to drive into Jersey, but they charge you to leave! LOL!

Being in the military, it's not unheard of to stand still for an hour or two. I went to physio to see about getting insoles because of the horrible shooting pains that started in my ankles and ended about mid back. I ended up with off the shelf insoles with a wedge in them. They made a fucking world of difference. I had no idea how much of my pain was from everyday stuff like just walking for more then a minute or two. Mow that I know how much of a difference they make, I gladly would have paid big bucks for these. Do yourself a favor, if you work on you feet, talk to someone about orthotics.

I've got my shit-kickers from when i was in, and i need to see if they still fit. if they do, then i should be fine. it'd be better than what i'm using now, since they're broke in to hell.

Gotta love issued boots. I have a pair that are over ten years old, I use them for working around the yard, on cars, odd construction type jobs I do on the side... and they're still going fine. I have a lace that's starting to fray, but that's it.

What trade were you?

Security Forces. So i spent all day on my feet, but the boots helped so much. only one problem: ashe and the dog are gonna HATE it when i take them off, since i get boot-foot from hell. when we were in training, i had to take my boots off outside the barracks because they were that bad. lol
