First the WORK CR-Kai doesn't look anything like this. Second are you a little slow?

If Rota made cheap knock-offs of Rotas (LOL, I know)... I bet they would sell the crap out of them.

Oh the humanity.

Nothing wrong with owning rotas.
Would be nice to own the originals, but hey, I cannot afford all of that stuff - sorry.

Potato. Plus, it's a lot easier to copy the JWL and VIA markings than it is to copy the entire wheel design. I guess we should commend them for doing both?

As Propaganda stated above, any wheel can break given the necessary circumstances whether it's light, heavy, forged, cast, expensive, cheap, OEM, aftermarket, original or knockoff.

I do take some small issue with the "design theft" of kockoffs, but not enough to make me militant on the internet about it. Wheel snobbery is kinda petty, it's akin to the snobbery some women treat each other with when comparing clothing or shoes. I think it's F'n sweet to have authentic Advan RGII's, but I'm not gonna hate on someone for buying a set that look identical but weigh a pound or two more for a fraction of the price.

For what it's worth, my next set of wheels for my BRZ will most likely be Rotas, unless I get a silly deal elsewhere.
The only OE application that I'm aware of for Rotas is Chrysler-Mitsubishi of Philippines. Rota is a Filipino owned brand.

Hmmmm..... I wonder.

Correct, any wheel can break given the right circumstance, but it's FAR more difficult to break a Rays than a Rota.

Do you put 87 or 91/93 in your car? I mean, that 87 is cheaper, and only has barely less octane rating than that expensive 91/93...

Would you use replica airbags for a fraction of the price? What if you could get a replica FRS for half the price?

Oh, and the irony... http://www.autoindustriya.net/blogs/...opied-in-china

No, it was a joke. XXR makes replica wheels as well for sometimes half the cost of a set of Rotas.

Wow I feel old. Kids today thinking that real wheels are knock off of Rota.

You can try the Gramlight 57X. Similar style and high quality. Not too expensive either.
