I gotta say, the Supra shade of red is BOOOOORRRRIIIINNNNGGGG. I thought so from pics, but even more so having seen it in person. Plain, flat, not nearly bright enough. It's a shade of red for a work truck.

One of those reds that when new already looks like it has sat in the sun for 10 years?

It doesn't look faded, it's just a bit on the dark side and muted. For me, if it's not gonna be a bright eye-searing RED, it should be a rich metallic like this year's Mazda Soul Red. That is sweeeet. This is dulllll...

Having owned a MK1 MR2 that started its life red and lived in Florida for several years, I can say with expert experience that it is more pink than orange.

The all black wheels look much better than the two-tones.

I recently sat in one of these.
Feels higher quality than the 86 (duh) and because of the all the BMW bits inside, it has a BMW feel to it.

Its definitely snug, it actually felt kind of tight and small (not tight as in "I don't fit in this car" tight, tight as in it kind of hugs around you). The 86 actually feels a bit more "open" on the inside.

I've always been impressed by how open the the 86 cabin is considering its size. The alpha Camaro felt more cramped when I sat it in even though it's a notably bigger car. And compared to the ND Miata that doesn't even have a glovebox it feels like a minivan inside.

Literally drove a 2017 SS Camaro today and you're totally right. Feels super crammed and visibility is trash compared to the 86. Unfair comparison with Camaros and Mustangs etc, but I love how "open" the interior is on the BRZ and I am interested to see how the Supra feels.

I’m sure being more rigid than the LFA requires compromises.

Bubble tops might feel spacious, but they probably aren’t very sturdy.

Why spend all that time designing a car that looks appealing, artistic even, to then paint it in boring colours.

From looking at car sales the nice bright colours seem to be better at resale as well.

Meh, kids these days
