Hardly doubt it... my car's front bumper is full of rock chips already...

Also, I did this today

See that... perfectly parked besides another car, and it was also the closest parking spot I could find.

No wonder you feel confident about parking in the center.
and thinks that others that parked away deserve to get their car vandalized.

Your parking spot is HUGE compare to some parking spot we got in California.

I welcome you come come visit LA area in California,

or Bay area in San Francisco area.

The former has lots of extremely small parking lot.

The latter doesn't give a shit about other people's cars,
The way they know how far they can back up their cars is determined by how far they can back up until they hit your bumper, and the way they know how far they can open the door is until their door smashes against your car.

Cry me a river, dude... you want me to post pics of my university's parking lot? where I often have to be a contortionist to get out of my car cause I can barely open my door.

I also never said those who park far away deserve to have their car vandalized, I said those who double park do since they are douche bags, but I guess reading comprehension isn't one of your skills. I did however say that those who park away have a higher chance of getting a ding cause some people will think you're an elitist prick for parking you car far away.

Oh no, that is terrible, your university parking sounded like most of the public parking in the area I used to live.

And yes, i would consider getting the door ding vandalsim, maybe you dont cinsider it as one, but to me, it is still consider property damage. There is no Difference between between damage someones car with a rock or your door

There is nothing elitist about parking far away, its the choice of a driver to minimum the risk happening to their car. As long as that driver does not double park, i dont see a problem with it.

LA, in general, does not have particularly small parking spots. I have no particular problems parking my Nissan Titan around town.

in contrary, my co-worker just had his car insurance paid for a door ding caused by his grandson.

Apparently, while dropping off his grandson off for martial art, the little kid swing the front passenger door open powerful enough that it left a 2" ding and some paint transfer.

He came out of the classroom seeing a police car next to his car, the next thing he knew was police report were filed, the office has instructed them to settle the issue in private with insurance company, and his insurance will be paying 700 dollar to repaint the door panel.

This happened in Irvine by the way. I guess the officer had more than enough time on their hands.

I haven't had my BRZ for a year yet and I already have a front right fender ding (received the first week of ownership), a small dent in the passenger door, a chip in the front bumper just below the Subaru badge, and a huge (but not deep) scratch across the hood. These things will happen. Its cosmetic.
I live in a relatively wealthy neighborhood. Not rich myself mind you, but people around here tend to be a bit more careful with their own cars. I do however work in a shitty area of Chicago and have to park on a poorly lit street overnight 11 days a month. (I'm guessing that's where my car received her scars). It's best to not stress about someone "parking too close" or getting a dent. This one guy I have known for a while in the neighborhood has a Ferrari. This thing has scratches, chips, dents but is mechanically perfect. He told me "What do I care? It runs great and they give it character. I didn't buy this car to keep it in the garage. I drive it." Good advice.

Near UCLA would be mostly street parking, so width of spots isn't much of an issue. UCLA itself has normal size spots in the parking garages, which fit a titan just fine.

Did your coworker leave a note when this happened?

What are you all complaining about... in Russia you share 1 parking spot between 2 cars.

I saw this and it was kind of funny she was parked like such a troll. I don't and would never park this way out of sheer personal principles and moral. That's terribly rude people don't do this or else someone would just thrash your car in reality. I highly doubt this prank is real but, that's just me.
