I live in the city, park in a very busy parking garage at work and I still manage to do it without being a d-bag to fellow inhabitants.
Don't double park. Also, good prank. If I did that and got spray painted, I'd consider it a good lesson and would laugh it off. I also got backed into in a parking lot by a barely English speaking Mexican lady and let her go when she started crying. I'm weird like that. |

Wtf?! How is parking away from the crowd asking for trouble? The ONE time I was forced to park next to someone due to it being a small parking lot I ended up with 2 dings in less than 30 minutes. Thankfully it only took $100 to get the dents removed and $15 for touch up paint for fill in the deep scratch.
Fuck parking next to people. In Texas there's nothing but college students who couldn't park their oversized truck within the lines for a blow job. I had my Genesis Coupe for 2 years without 1 door ding. Normal people don't give a shit if someone is parked far away. Only losers would think they deserve to be fucked with. How old are you again?

Also, heard that. I park at the end of an aisle and leave a ton of room in the space so people don't park next to me, and what happens when I come out? 99% of the times, they're at an angle, in my space. WTFFFFF, learn to parrrrkkk.I have so many door dings and scrapes, it's kind of ridiculous. Also,at a side note.Someone hit another car while trying to park. They tried covering up the scrape with a whiteout pen LOL. Also. There's a shitton of spaces. But where does the beater SUV park? Next to the brand new GTR. Fuck them. |

Your car is going to get hit eventually, deal with it. Don't take up two spots ever, you may park in the back but how do you know the parking lot won't be full when you come back out? Or if you park in the back you don't need two spots. It's a car, it's meant to be driven/used, it's gonna see some wear. Live with it.

After seeing someone drive across a nearly empty Target parking lot and crash into a big red cart stall, I realized it doesn't matter where you park or how many spots you use. Most people don't pay attention or care about your car.

I parked my Gen Coupe away from the crowd for 2 years and never had 1 ding. I didn't park extremely far, but just far enough to be 3 or 4 spaces from the nearest car. It worked for me. It probably just depends on your past experiences. In my case, I'm paranoid about it just because of what happened to my rental.

With every car I've had I've always parked away from people. I'm sorry that I actually want to TAKE CARE of the things I spend my HARD EARNED MONEY on. Do I double park? Not most of the time, just in certain situations. I always park in the back though, hoping no one notices or is too lazy to park next to me and has to walk.

Lmao. I went to the casino years back, parked way out of the way. Come out to my truck and there are like 3-4 cars by me. There were two completely empty rows and they chose to park by me.

I usually try to park in a "less populated" part of a parking lot (not the empty part).
Also, I try to park next to another vehicle, with my side next to the passenger side of the other vehicle (the vehicle may not have a passenger) and I can choose the distance between those two vehicles. Of course, parking next to a 4 door car is better than a 2 door (shorter doors). I try to avoid cars/trucks/SUVs with child seats (cause when mama comes out with the screaming kid, flings open her car door and is trying to stuff it into a car seat) ...... YOUR car is the last thing on her mind.....!! But my favorite defense is this, sitting with the pin half out ..... humfrz |
