Forester XT/Legacy GT exhaust tips on the twins stock muffler (easy/cheap option)

So like many others I'm peeved we got jipped on the exhaust tips here in the states... I ordered some cheap replacements but in the meantime I had a forester XT in the next garage so I snagged the tip off of it and here are the results:

As you can see it slides over the BRZ/FRS tips and uses the same bolt hole. Other model Subaru exhaust tips might work as well.

So I went down to the recycler and they didn't have any Forester XT's but they had plenty of Legacy GT's with exhaust tips that are more Oval and less Round but also bolt up the same way and use the same 10mm bolt

Granted these are a little damaged, but I cleaned them up a little and they look fine especially for $15 for both. MUCH better looking IMO than the aftermarket generic ones.

I'm still not sure whether I like the Forester or Legacy ones better...

Working on getting the part numbers now.

Forgot to post the better photos of the Legacy GT tips I took...

IMO they are perfect if you want to keep the car looking stock and just want to fix the crappy stock exhaust tips...
