I never look at the tach since I can drive by sound and fee so it is useless to me. I do however need to see what time it is and get chuckle over that poor little clock.

The clock is fantastic. It's the ART of simplicity!

Count me as a fan of the interior. The clock keeps time - works for me. I've always wondered who the market is for these fancy Breitling-type inlaid clocks in cars - I guess I know now.
The dash is simple - all these complaints about "hard touch plastics" makes me laugh; remember back in the day when the dash was metal? Who is out there stroking their dashboard? Mechanical seats are perfect - electric seats add weight and are far harder to get back into the right position (unless they also have memory features which adds further complexity). About the only thing I'd do is dump or change the analog speedo. As is, it's nearly impossible to read (and it's funny that the entire legal part of the speedometer is in about the first 10 degrees of needle sweep). |

LOL I repeat. I AM JOKING ABOUT THE DAMN CLOCK! Pretty sure others are as well. I doubt there is anybody that is truly bothered. The interior is every bit as good as the bottom trim BMW one of my buddies at work has. Not sure what people are looking for in an inexpensive car. Unicorn ivory knobs, velociraptor skin leather, Groot woodgrain panels? Funny you mention the steel dash. How about manual choke, vacuum powered wipers, no carpet (just plastic), tube AM only radio, heater with on or off (surface of the sun blast or nothing), mechanical self winding clock with hands and overall just a mass of steel, Bakelite and cloth for an interior? I am truly not bothered by the funny clock.

The interior is perfect. Simple, honest, light, while being a nice enough place to be. Frankly it's much nicer than any other Subaru interior I've been in.
People complaining about the interior materials need to go sit in a Ford fiesta or whatever drivel GM makes these days. Our interior is nicer than the Corvette by a mile lol. |

The interior is great, except for the damn Corolla clock. There are no words to describe the clock.

Yes C5 Corvettes are some of the worst interiors from the seats that fall apart, 1/2" gaps around panels, Shitty plastic & vinly just crap. Hence why I had to redo mine from scratch
