I'm in MI, and "ordered" my BRZ in early April from a dealer outside of the Metro Detroit area since AFAIK all of the dealers had gone through their initial allocations. I was 2nd to order out of 2 allocated to Williams Subaru in Lansing, MI, but 1st to get their BRZ.

The vehicle I ended up with was part of what appears to be an additional allocation that SOA had ready for what I'm assuming was intended to be demo vehicles. In my case, the vehicle SOA had assigned to Williams matched my order except for the port accessories, which were able to change.

I'm sure this will make some people , but sometimes you just get lucky.

Man, that red looks really cool! Question: Is it glittery/metallic liek all the other colors, or is it flat(none metallic/glittery but glossy) red like the reds they use on the Audi's?

Non-metallic / Solid color. A little darker than Audi's Brilliant Red. I'll have some pictures during the weekend with the BRZ & my A4 together for comparison.

i think a lot of people are frustrated that they ordered at exactly 9am on 3/1 and were #1, but they still haven't received an ETA/VIN.

Congrats on the delivery! That shade of red is fantastic; it's the color of the pre-prod I got to see in person when the BRZ's were touring the dealerships.

Enjoy!

Audis red is hands down the best but that LR is a damn close second. Looks great

gosh...sssooooo sexy. I mean good, I mean awesome...nah, I really do mean sexy.

I want mine already! Seriously! This car will re-map the defintion of a well balanced sports car. Proud of Subaru.

Subaru will be known for decades for this acheivement. Porsche will be left scratching their heads.

BRZ4me: Thank you very, very much . That color really makes the car look $10k more than it is.

How has the reaction on the street been?
