Three types of reactions:
1 - From Non-Car People: Have no idea what it is, thinks it costs 2x as much as it did.
2 - From Non-Car People who think they are Car People: "heard those are slow/why did you buy that when you could've bought _______", etc.
3 - Car People: Seriously, how much fun is it? SO awesome.

I'm soon to get one, but ill tell you guys about me drooling over one I saw. It was 10 pm and me and my friends head out to TGIF for some drinks. As we're walking through the parking lot I spot a red FR-S. I just stand there staring for a minute while my friends go in. After a couple of drinks we walk-out And it's still there in an empty lot. I'm drooling over this car at that point, I see the sleek body, look inside to check if it's manual, and picture myself driving one (btw I drive a 99 Corolla). My friends mention how amazing it looks and have no clue what it is. I don't tell them, all I say is I'm going to get one, and they're like Damn! One of my friends just got a new Chevy cruise, acts like he doesnt notice it, and bad mouths how he got his car because its a business car and he's got more space. He knows I'm getting the FR-S soon and I could feel the Jelly pouring out. I could care less about all other compliments but to see his face once I get it, it's going to be priceless.

@Insomniac I have yet to post any pictures to fb to show my friends. Why- because I feel slightly guilty I drive the sexiest car out of all of them. lol
I will post once I have my mods that are currently sitting in my room installed tho

I have parts sitting in my room as well.. but my room AND car are 6600 miles away

I have a Firestorm, and that can sometimes attract unwanted attention, but it's a red car so what did I expect? My buddies - who have a tremendous amount of car knowledge - are all very excited/jealous of my new purchase. I'm hoping I have inspired one of them to pull the trigger and get a BRZ.

Since I talked about getting this car for a year and a half, everyone I talk to says one of two things:
"It's about time," with the implied (maybe she will stop talking about it now...)
And
"Damn, that's hot."

I've had a few conversations about the car and powertrain and why I didn't opt for the Subaru model....

But ever since I put the Tom's Taillights on, I get a very uncomfortable amount of stares lol..
