My uninstall of the antenna took about an hour last night. Could do this for someone easily now, it wasn't very difficult. |

I dont see it unless I look for it and no one has ever said anything, im not sure how black or a gloss would look. If you wanted carbon the detail probably would hide it its just 3m 1080 vinyl!

It would work if you left the antenna inside the roof, you have to take the antenna fully off, its sealed by the edges of the roof, my whole roof is vinyl wrapped Sent from my Surface Pro 3 using Tapatalk |

I'm not quite sure the order I should or will put this together at. The bondo patch will give some nice strength to the metal to hold everything together with self-adhesive. Then I was thinking to add a level of sealant tape and then a white vinyl patch on top which would show. Hopefully this will be water tight enough. Don't want mold or anything...not sure about this vinyl patch stuff. The last part is a nice flat white door knob guard that I thought I might be able to use to patch it up and seal it off... Thoughts people...??? |

Looks like I will be going back to the stock antenna. Permanently, or at least for now. The main reason I started thinking about this was due to the fact I had to remove for my car to be wrapped. XPEL looks awesome. The paint and body curves stand out even more now
I may go with the Perrin 2" stubby if it bothers me too much. But the black antenna goes well with the entire car being Whiteout with the black trims. How is the reception on the Perrin 2"? |
